All over my website I have text written concerning the "estimated"
adult weight of your new puppy. I mention that there are "Weight Charts" available that you plug in the weight and age
of your puppy and they give you an estimated adult weight of your new dog. After these past two years, I must say that
I will no longer be estimating my puppies adult sizes. I have seen everything from huge puppies growing to be
small sized adults and small puppies growing to be larger sized adults. I have purchased many new females over the past
two years in hopes of adding them to our breeding program. They charted out to be in the 5- 5 1/2 lbs range on the weight
charts. However, many of them NEVER made it to 4 1/2 lbs. I have sold puppies that were very small, only to discover
that they went through a growth spurt and ended up being a pound or more larger than the weight charts had indicated.
I have sold larger puppies at reduced prices because their adult weight estimate put them over 6 lbs, only to find out that
they barely made it to 4 lb adults.
So, from now on, I will not post their adult weight estimate.
If you ask, I will preface all my weight "guesses" with the fact that it is risky business estimating your new puppies adult
weight and I do not guarantee it. God is creative and He always enjoys surprising me it seems! The Chihuahua is
a lovely breed, whether they are 2 lbs or under or 6 lbs or over!

Introducing Lacey!
Lacey was adopted from a beloved friend and past breeder of fine Chihuahuas. Lacey has the greatest
conformity and temperament ... her only fault is her tiny size. She has skipped several growth spurts and
remained a small female. We will not be able to add her to our breeding program due to her size, so we have found her a pet/companion
home! She will be a mascot for a girl's competitive cheer team in LA living with one of the girl's and her family!
We will miss her but hope to get lots of updated pictures of her and her "team"!

Charlotte Anne is a past puppy of ours, but we keep her picture
up because she is a great example of a long coat Chihuahua puppy! She is 6 1/2 months old and barely 2 lbs and her new
mama says, "She thinks she is a Rottweiler!".
Should I adopt a male or female puppy?
Many customers ask us if they should adopt a female or a male puppy and what are the concerns either sex introduce.
I have my own opinions about this topic, but I would highly recommend doing online reseach and talking to
your vet about your decision if you are unsure.

How do you place your puppy on "Hold"?
When a customer decides they want a puppy we have posted, they may hold that puppy with a non-refundable $200
deposit. Once the deposit is paid (through PayPal invoice via email), that puppy is on hold for that customer. It is
our policy to hold a puppy only with deposit paid. This assures us that the customer is serious and capable of taking
responsible steps in dog ownership. As much as "word of mouth" is valued by us, only the $200 deposit will hold a puppy.
After the $200 is paid, it is then deducted from the total amount of the puppy. The remaining balance is due at
time of pick up or prior to shipping.

We are constantly monitoring the weights, colors, coat lengths of our available puppies. If weights
change on a specific puppy, we will post the change. If the puppy appears to have gone through an unexpected growth
spurt, which in turn affects the adult weight estimation, then you might also see a price reduction on occasion if that puppy's
price was based on it's adult weight size.
